Terms of Use

By downloading or using Trackity you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

What the app does

Lets you create an unlimited number of habits, each with its own schedule, colour and reminder time.
Records which days you completed each habit, and shows the result as streaks, a weekly ledger and a contribution grid.
Sends one local reminder a day, at the time you choose, for the evening review.
Shows your habits on home screen widgets you can tick off without opening the app.
Optionally syncs your habits between your own devices through your private iCloud account, for Premium subscribers.

Trackity is a record of what you tick off. Trackity counts what you mark as done. It cannot know whether you did a habit you did not tick, and a reminder depends on notifications for Trackity being allowed in Settings. Streaks and totals are only as complete as what you record.

Your licence

You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use Trackity on devices you own or control, for as long as these terms are observed. You may not resell the app, redistribute it, or attempt to extract its source code.

What is free

Unlimited habits, every home screen widget, reminders, weekly goals, the evening review and catching up a day you missed are free, and always will be. Nothing that is free today will move behind the paywall later. The free plan shows an occasional ad. Premium removes ads and adds iCloud sync and backup, the Apple Watch app, the calendar and year views, themes and data export.

Prices are the United States prices and are shown here for reference. The App Store shows the price in your own currency, which may differ.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours of the period ending.
You manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings, not in the app. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Where a free trial is offered, any unused part of it is forfeited if you buy a subscription during the trial.
The lifetime purchase is a one-time payment. It does not renew and is not a subscription.
Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's own policy. We cannot issue a refund for an App Store purchase — request one through Apple.

Your content

The habits and completions you record are yours. They stay on your device; we neither hold them nor claim any right to them.

Acceptable use

Do not use Trackity to break the law or to store information you have no right to hold.

No warranty, and the limits of our liability

Trackity is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that every reminder will be delivered: iOS decides when a notification is shown, and notifications you turn off in Settings are not shown at all.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for a lost streak, lost data after the app is deleted without a backup, or any other loss arising from use of the app. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to the app and to these terms

Features may be added, changed or removed as the app develops. If these terms change, the effective date above changes and the updated version is published here. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new terms.
