Privacy Policy

Effective September 17, 2026 · Trackity: Habit Tracker

Trackity tracks daily habits. There is no account, no sign-in and no server: every habit you create and every day you tick off stays in the app's own storage on your iPhone.

What is collected

Your habits and completions

Stored on your device only, in the app's own storage, so that the widget can read them too. They are not uploaded to us, not readable by us, and deleting the app deletes them.

iCloud sync (Premium, optional)

If you turn sync on, your habits are copied through your own private iCloud account so your other devices can read them. That data sits in your Apple account, not on our servers. We cannot see it. Turning sync off stops it.

Notifications

The daily reminder is scheduled locally by iOS on your device. There are no push notifications, so nothing is sent to a server and no device token is collected.

Purchases

Purchases are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to check whether a subscription is currently active. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated anonymous identifier and the purchase receipt Apple issues. It does not receive your name, your email address, or any of your habits.

Onboarding progress

How far you got through the setup questions is stored as a single anonymous label alongside your purchase record, so we can tell where people stop. It contains no answers you gave and nothing that identifies you.

Ads on the free plan

From the second day of use, the free plan shows one full-screen ad when you return to the app. Ads are served by Google AdMob, which receives your device's advertising identifier only if you allow tracking when iOS asks, plus the IP address and basic device information any ad request carries. In the EEA and the UK, Google's consent form lets you decide how that data is used. Premium subscribers see no ads, and no ad requests are made for them.

What is not collected

• We do not ask you to create an account, and there is nothing to sign in to.
• We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or contacts.
• We do not collect your location.
• We do not use third-party analytics, and nothing about your habits is ever shared with an ad network.
• We do not sell personal data. The only data that leaves your device for advertising is what Google AdMob receives to show an ad on the free plan, described above.

Where your data lives

Everything you create in Trackity is written to the app's own storage on your device. If you have iCloud Backup switched on, Apple may include that storage in your device backup — that is a setting on your iPhone, between you and Apple, and we have no access to it. Deleting the app deletes the habits and completions it holds.

Children

Trackity is a habit tracker and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, of any age, because the app does not collect personal information at all.

Your rights

Rights such as access, correction, export and erasure apply to personal data a company holds about you. We hold none: there is no account, no profile, and no server-side record connected to you. Your data is on your device, where you can read, export and delete it yourself at any time. If you would like this confirmed in writing, email us.

Third parties

Apple processes every purchase and is the merchant of record. Apple's handling of your payment information is covered by Apple's own privacy policy.

RevenueCat tells the app whether a purchase is currently active. It receives a randomly generated identifier and Apple's purchase receipt. It receives nothing you track and nothing that identifies you personally.

Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date at the top of this page changes with it, and the updated version is published here.
