Privacy Policy

Effective September 12, 2026 · Bill Organizer: Pocketbill

Pocketbill tracks the bills you have to pay and reminds you before they are due. There is no account, no sign-in, and no bank connection: every bill you enter and every payment you record stays in the app's own storage on your iPhone.

What is collected

Your bills and payments

Stored on your device only, in the app's own storage, so that the widget can read them too. They are not uploaded to us, not readable by us, and deleting the app deletes them.

Ask Pocketbill

Questions you type into Ask Pocketbill are answered by Apple's on-device model on your iPhone, using your bills stored on the same device. The question, your bills and the answer are not sent to us, to Apple's servers or to any AI provider, and are not kept after you close the chat.

iCloud backup (optional)

Pocketbill writes a daily backup file into your own iCloud Drive, where you can see and delete it in the Files app. That file sits in your Apple account, not on our servers. We cannot see it. Turning iCloud Drive off for Pocketbill stops it.

Notifications

Every reminder is scheduled locally by iOS on your device. There are no push notifications, so nothing is sent to a server and no device token exists.

Purchases

If you subscribe, Apple processes the payment and RevenueCat records that a subscription is active against an anonymous identifier. Pocketbill also tells RevenueCat, against that same anonymous identifier, how often the Premium screen was opened and closed, so we can see whether it is useful. Neither we nor RevenueCat receive your bills, your amounts, or your name.

What is not collected

• We never ask for a bank login, and Pocketbill has no way to connect to a bank, a card, or any payment provider.
• We do not ask you to create an account, and there is nothing to sign in to.
• We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or contacts.
• We do not collect your location.
• We do not use advertising, ad identifiers, or third-party analytics.
• We do not sell or share personal data, because we do not hold any.

Where your data lives

Everything you create in Pocketbill is written to the app's own storage on your device. If you have iCloud Backup switched on, Apple may include that storage in your device backup — that is a setting on your iPhone, between you and Apple, and we have no access to it. Deleting the app deletes the bills and payments it holds.

Children

Pocketbill is a bill organizer and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, of any age, because the app does not collect personal information at all.

Your rights

Rights such as access, correction, export and erasure apply to personal data a company holds about you. We hold none: there is no account, no profile, and no server-side record connected to you. Your data is on your device, where you can read, export and delete it yourself at any time. If you would like this confirmed in writing, email us.

Third parties

Apple processes every purchase and is the merchant of record. Apple's handling of your payment information is covered by Apple's own privacy policy.

RevenueCat tells the app whether a purchase is currently active. It receives a randomly generated identifier and Apple's purchase receipt. It receives nothing you enter and nothing that identifies you personally.

Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date at the top of this page changes with it, and the updated version is published here.
