Effective August 5, 2026 · RoomTape: AR Tape Measure
Email inkpocket.app@gmail.com and we will get back to you. Telling us your iPhone model and what you were doing when it went wrong saves a round trip.
Automatic room scanning uses the depth sensor built into iPhone Pro models. Every other feature works on any iPhone that supports ARKit — use Room mode on the Measure tab to trace a room corner by corner instead.
Settings → Units. There are three options: metric, decimal feet, and feet with fractional inches. If you pick fractional inches you can also choose whether to round to a half, quarter, eighth or sixteenth.
Open the plan, then Export as DXF for CAD. The file is written at true scale in metres, so it arrives the right size without rescaling.
Settings → Restore purchases. If that does not help, email us and include the Apple receipt — we can check whether the purchase reached RevenueCat.
Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us. Open the Settings app → your name → Subscriptions, and cancel there. Cancelling stops the renewal; you keep access until the period you already paid for ends, and your saved plans stay open afterwards either way.
AR measuring is an estimate. Give the app a well-lit, textured surface, move slowly, and wait for the tracking indicator to turn green before you place a point. Always verify a dimension you are about to cut to.
If a measurement was badly off, it helps enormously to know: the model of iPhone, whether the tracking indicator was green at the time, what the surface was (bare wall, glass, carpet, mirror), and what the app said versus what a tape said. Send those and we can usually reproduce it.
