By downloading or using Pebble you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
What the app does
- Teaches ASL signs in short lessons, each sign shown on video with a slow motion option.
- Builds sentences and short chats from those signs, with ASL gloss and English underneath.
- Teaches the fingerspelling alphabet and practice with spelled words, including your own name.
- Offers practice: review, quizzes, flashcards, matching and fingerspelling.
- Keeps a daily streak, medals and an optional daily reminder at a time you pick.
Your licence
You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use Pebble on devices you own or control, for as long as these terms are observed. You may not resell the app, redistribute it, or attempt to extract its source code.
What is free
The first three lessons are free, with no account and no card. Premium unlocks every unit, all practice modes and the full dictionary.

Prices are the United States prices and are shown here for reference. The App Store shows the price in your own currency, which may differ.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours of the period ending.
- You manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings, not in the app. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Where a free trial is offered, any unused part of it is forfeited if you buy a subscription during the trial.
- The lifetime purchase is a one-time payment. It does not renew and is not a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's own policy. We cannot issue a refund for an App Store purchase. Request one through Apple.
Your content
Your progress and your own sign lists are yours. They stay on your device; we neither hold them nor claim any right to them.
Acceptable use
Use Pebble for your own learning. Do not copy, rehost or resell the sign videos, images or lessons.
No warranty, and the limits of our liability
Pebble is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that every sign matches every region's usage. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from relying on a sign shown in the app. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to the app and to these terms
Features may be added, changed or removed as the app develops. If these terms change, the effective date above changes and the updated version is published here. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new terms.
