Effective October 22, 2026 ยท Pebble: ASL Sign Language
Pebble teaches American Sign Language in short lessons with video signers. Your progress lives on your iPhone. There is no account and no server of ours.
Lessons done, XP, streak, medals, favorites and your own sign lists are stored on your iPhone only, in the app's own storage. They are not uploaded and we cannot read them. Deleting the app deletes them.
Onboarding asks for a name so lessons can spell it in sign. It stays on your iPhone with the rest of your progress.
If you allow notifications, the daily reminder is scheduled on your iPhone by iOS. No server sends it and nothing about it leaves the device.
Subscriptions are billed by Apple; we never see your payment details. RevenueCat processes the receipt so the app knows whether Premium is active, and receives a random identifier for your install rather than your name or email.
RevenueCat also receives the onboarding step you reached, the reason you picked for learning ASL and, if you came from an Apple Ads ad, Apple's attribution token. This shows us which ads and onboarding steps work. It is tied to the random install identifier, never to your name or email.
Everything you create in Pebble is written to the app's own storage on your device. If you have iCloud Backup switched on, Apple may include that storage in your device backup. That is a setting on your iPhone, between you and Apple, and we have no access to it. Deleting the app deletes the progress it holds.
Pebble is a general audience learning app. It does not collect personal information from anyone, of any age: the optional first name stays on the device and is never sent to us.
Rights such as access, correction, export and erasure apply to personal data a company holds about you. We hold none: there is no account, no profile, and no server-side record connected to you. Your data is on your device, where you can read, export and delete it yourself at any time. If you would like this confirmed in writing, email us.
Apple processes every purchase and is the merchant of record. Apple's handling of your payment information is covered by Apple's own privacy policy.
RevenueCat tells the app whether a purchase is currently active. It receives a randomly generated identifier and Apple's purchase receipt. It receives nothing you learn and nothing that identifies you personally.
If this policy changes, the effective date at the top of this page changes with it, and the updated version is published here.
